History

Since the foundation in 1956 by master builder Ulrich Riebau the company has developed to become a highly specialised and recognised consulting engineering company. LEHNE ing.’s expertise is well acknowledged in Hamburg.

Michael Meyn and Stefan Paul are connected by a drive to provide responsibility for the development of urban infrastructure and sustainable mobility in our city. What started at colleague level in 2001 is nowadays a modern consulting company providing all the necessary civil engineering services. The medium-sized company offers opportunities provided by both family-managed and future-oriented company culture.

The business development has been positive for more than 10 years and the growth has increased once again over the last few years, and we use this growth to incorporate fresh innovations and achieve the full potential of our team.

Milestones

1956 - founding of the company by master builder Urlich Riebau

1970 - takeover by Karl-Friedrich Kröger

1988 - Manfred Lehne is promoted to partner. Renaming to VBI Kröger + Lehne

1995 - Karl-Friedrich Kröger left the company. Rebranding to VBI M. Lehne

2008 - Michael Meyn und Stefan Paul join the management board and take over the company renaming it into LEHNE Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH für Bauen und Umwelt or short LEHNE ing.
